Actually, Gipson has given up four Diggers to the Panther today and the 8th could have been the last of Gipson, did what he had to do.

Now we need to finish in the 9th.

Hatcher hits his 18th double of the year with one out giving the Owls 17 hits for the day and keeps the pressure on the Panthers.

Ozga hits a two run digger to make it 16-6 and clinch the victory for the Owls!   Cheesy

And eliminate the Panther form the Tournament.  Cool

Adam Morrison will take to the hill for the Owls tommorow.

Last time out against MTSU

Morrison went 3 2/3 innings for Florida Atlantic, and was lifted in favor of Glen Troyanowski with the Owls leading 5-4.

Two-out doubles by Stuart Meinhart and Drew Robertson generated two Blue Raiders runs in the bottom of the third.

Meinhart's solo homer off Morrison in the second inning had initiated the scoring.

Glenn Troyanowksi came on in relief, but MTSU put up five runs on him in the sixth.

Chad Edwards will start for MTSU.

JVOWL.... i agree, we just do not have the pitching to compete in a double header.  After the last three years, you would think recruiting would focus more on pitching as it has ruined our program.  Storey was the last piotcher we had that was a  true threat any given outing.
