And there could be a battle for second....Owl4Ever does have a chance to move into second...still has enough available points if all goes well to push him over W1FAU.

"If you're NOT FIRST, you're LAST!"  Great Job Owlfan1!

Thanks. All my years of pick 'em and this is my first title. I want to thank Bytor for putting this together, my family for their support, and the winning teams for giving me a reason to have confidence in them. This will forever be a shining moment in my pick 'em career.  Grin

GO OWLS!!!

Don't forget to thank your sponsors!

Good call. I also want to thank my unofficial sponsors:

The Show Me State and beyond. They are the Hooters of the southern midwest. Southern Illinois, Missouri, Southern Indiana, and Kentucky.

Looks like a forgotten smittysahoot can still make a run at this thing - he would need both a Troy & a Texas victory to have a chance.

Based on the 'What if?' column it looks to me like he can only get 384 best case scenario. Not enough to catch me unless I am reading something wrong.

I don't think I can finish first, but maybe second. We'll see!

You are correct...the best he can finish is 384, and would be shy of the 385 you already have.  I should have been a bit more specific on him solidifying 2nd place, as oppose to saying having a chance to over take you in points.

Must say...its been an interesting finish with plenty of movements this past week.

With Owlfan1 wrapping-up the Confidence Points there is still a battle for the second spot and as far as the straight-up points, it will come down to tonight's game to decide who winds up on top of the point standing.

If Texas wins...NCowls takes it
If Alabama wins...AlexFAU06 takes the crown.

Congrats to both winners.

Just a comparison, I finished with 336 points (which I did the confidence points opposite of what I wanted)
If I would have followed directions I would have finished with 392 for the win...  Roll Eyes

Life long school lesson... "Always read the directions first!"

oh bother!
