FAU led UCF 4-3 before game was called The FAU baseball team’s game against Central Florida on Tuesday night was canceled due to rain. The Owls (31-19) held a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning when the game was delayed due to lightning in the area. After a few minutes of lightning and heavy winds, the skies opened up and it rained heavily for about 30 minutes. The game was called at approximately 9:30 p.m. after umpires and head coaches decided the playing surface was unplayable. Florida Atlantic will be back in action on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when they begin a three game home series against conference rival Florida International to conclude the regular season.
