The selection will be made by Oct. 14. Navys annual matchup against Notre Dame on Oct. 26 will be at noon ET on either ABC or ESPN, while the Midshipmens Nov. 16 home game against Tulane will be at noon ET on an ESPN network to be determined. Army will play a home game on an ESPN network for the first time since 2009 when the Black Knights host East Carolina Oct. 19 at noon at Michie Stadium. All three games of the annual Commander-In-Chiefs Trophy series will air on CBS this season. Navy visits Air Force Oct. 5, while Army hosts Air Force Nov. 2. The annual Army-Navy game, the first in which both teams will be American Athletic Conference members, is scheduled for Dec. 14 in Landover, Maryland. The American Athletic Conference Football Championship Game will air on ABC on Friday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be the 10th consecutive season that The American Championship will be televised on ABC. Most of the remaining start times and television designations for the 2024 season will be made on a weekly basis through the season as part of the conferences 12-day selection process. The most up-to-date schedule, with television designations, is available at TheAmerican.org. American Athletic Conference teams figure to be well-positioned for a second appearance in the College Football Playoff in 2024 as the new Playoff format allows for the five highest-ranked conference champions to reach the 12-team field. 2024 American Athletic Conference Football Schedule/Television Update Date Game Time (ET) Television Thursday, Aug. 29 Alcorn State at UAB 8 p.m. ESPN+ Southeastern Louisiana at Tulane 8 p.m. ESPN+ Northwestern State at Tulsa 8 p.m. ESPN+ Friday, Aug. 30 Lehigh at Army 6 p.m. CBS Sports Network Florida Atlantic at Michigan State 7 p.m. Big Ten Network Temple at Oklahoma 7 p.m. ESPN Saturday, Aug. 31 Bucknell at Navy Noon CBS Sports Network Kennesaw State at UTSA 3:30 p.m. ESPN+ North Texas at South Alabama 5 p.m. ESPN+ Norfolk State at East Carolina 6 p.m. ESPN+ North Alabama at Memphis 7 p.m. ESPN+ Sam Houston at Rice 7 p.m. ESPN+ Bethune-Cookman at South Florida 7 p.m. ESPN+ James Madison at Charlotte 8 p.m. ESPNU Saturday, Sept. 7 Army at Florida Atlantic * Noon CBS Sports Network Troy at Memphis Noon ESPNU Kansas State at Tulane Noon ESPN or ESPN2 Charlotte at North Carolina 3:30 p.m. ACC Network Temple at Navy * 3:30 p.m. CBS Sports Network UTSA at Texas State 4 p.m. ESPNU East Carolina at Old Dominion 6 p.m. ESPN+ UAB at Louisiana-Monroe 7 p.m. ESPN+ Texas Southern at Rice 7 p.m. ESPN+ South Florida at Alabama 7 p.m. ESPN Tulsa at Arkansas State 7 p.m. ESPN+ Stephen F.
