The American Athletic Conference has announced that its 2024 Football Media Days will be held Monday and Tuesday, July 22-23 at the Loews Arlington Hotel in Arlington, Texas. The in-person event will launch a new era in American Athletic Conference football as Army West Point plays in the conference for the first time. The American has had its champion play in a College Football Playoff semifinal or New Years Six bowl seven times in the last 10 seasons heading into the first year of the new 12-team CFP format. The conference will continue to provide unparalleled access to head coaches, student-athletes and Commissioner Tim Pernetti. A detailed schedule and list of attendees will be announced at a later date. The 888-room Loews Arlington Hotel, which opened in February, is the first-of-its-kind meetings and resort destination, situated between two iconic sports stadiums – Globe-Life Field and AT&T Stadium – and connected to the new Arlington Convention Center. The hotel has 200,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, 66,000 square feet of outdoor function space, including an event lawn. The venue is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
