Florida Atlantic women’s soccer has announced a 19-game schedule for the 2024 regular season. Head Coach Patrick Baker, in his 11th season at the helm, enters the second season in the American Athletic Conference after leading the Owls to the AAC Tournament semifinals in year one. Florida Atlantic opens the season in Paradise with three consecutive matches against in-state foes. UCF is the Owls’ home opener a match set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 under the lights at FAU Football Stadium. Miami is in town Sunday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. and FAU hosts FIU on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. With the exception of the home opener, the remainder of the Owls’ home matches are played at FAU Soccer Stadium and admission is free. A compete promotional schedule, TV and streaming schedule, and the full 2024 roster will be announced in August. Florida Atlantic closes the month of August with a pair of road matches at Louisiana on Aug. 25 and at Alabama on Aug. 29. A home date with Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 1 precedes three consecutive road contents at Florida Gulf Coast (Sept. 5), Tennessee (Sept. 8) and the AAC opener at North Texas on Sept. 12. The Owls close non-conference play by welcoming Southeast Missouri State on Sept. 15, with consecutive conference home matches versus Charlotte (Sept. 19) and USF (Sept. 26) to follow. September is capped on the road at UAB on Sept. 29. Florida Atlantic wraps up the regular season with six matches in October, three at home and three on the road. Senior Day is set for East Carolina on Oct. 27 with the regular-season finale at UTSA on Oct. 31 in San Antonio. The AAC Tournament begins on November 4 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., with the semifinals set for November 7 and the championship on November 10.
