“Up Close” with Pablo Bertone

Hailing from Arroyito, Argentina, 6’4″, 198 lb freshman guard Pablo Bertone joins the Owls after a standout career at Rise Academy where he posted averages of 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. “Pablo is very intriguing. He’s smart, and a great passer. When he’s a senior he will probably be our starting point guard”, Coach Mike Jarvis said. “He can play the two and the three because he can rebound. The kid can flat out play, and is skilled.” Bertone is also well traveled, having played on the European circuit as a member of the under 18 Argentian National Team.
