The Owl’s Nest is an independent Florida Atlantic University (FAU) site that was started in 2003 and has since grown to become the largest Owl fan community on the internet.

Founder Kamp “OG Owl” Rogers” passed away in 2006 leaving administrative duties to Francois Rioux, who along with Rick Henderson has since continued to enhance, develop, and expand the community to over 2,000 members strong and growing.

The Owl’s Nest reach is nationwide with its strength having been built on the merits of its loyal members – all of whom have come to enjoy the ability to share information while having their voice heard on matters surrounding FAU. Since it’s inception, many changes have taken place. 

Most importantly, the Owl’s Nest has become a leader in providing students, fans, alumni, and staff FAU news, information, and initiatives in a cutting edge  media format while providing a point of open platform of discussion as well. As the community continues to grow, it will only strengthen the resolve for being the most visited site for FAU Sports News, and Discussion.

In 2024 The Owl’s Nest became part of The Bleacher Brothers Sports Network family when it was acquired by Bleacher Brothers Media Corp.

Our goal is to continue to deliver the best FAU sports coverage in the country as well as breaking news, the latest updates and expanded live coverage.
