That win was satisfying. Those poor Kitties, I hope someone leaves some spoiled milk out for them. Especially the player that bull-dozed into our huddle, it's not even worth looking up his name. Jerk!!!

Now the real test begins with the next two games. We cannot look forward because the Bonnies are the real deal. We will have to clean up our foul shots and the key to our success going forward is rebounds offensive and defensive. The stat they threw out was that FAU is 62 & 1 when out-rebounding their opponents. Or something crazy like that…

Good to see Martin get his legs under him and make a couple three'sssssss as well. So much to praise with such an unselfish team. Go OWLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly didn’t think we played particularly well tonight and still walked away with a 30+ point win.

I think our second unit beats FIU. Nice bounce back win. Crowd looked good for school being on break. Next game will be tough, but I like what I saw tonight. A few things to clean up, but I’m sure some of it was just rust

Let me say this about the success of this basketball team and FAU sports in general.
When I got here 23 years ago, very few if any had ever heard about FAU. Now, people are talking about FAU. Especially recently, here, because of the final 4 and the latest game vs Illinois in NYC. I just wish we could have won that game.
People are asking me questions. Most now have heard of FAU. They are surprised when I tell them the enrollment is over 30,000 and FAU has multiple campuses. ESPN and other sports channels keep referring to FAU as a small school. Regardless of what that means, people take to mean small campus and enrollment.
My wife has a friend here whose son just got accepted to FAU. They live in the western part of the state by St Louis so when he applied it wasn't from anything I said. I never met the boy.

This has been good for FAU.

Getting the name out there has been a tremendous benefit to enrollment.
The fact that FAU is located in Boca Raton, provides a great education and is 1.8 miles from the beach, all become selling points now that students are inquiring about acceptance.
