Coach Tom Herman and staff have landed their second pledge for the Owls' upcoming 2024 class and it comes locally with the addition of Fort Lauderdale High School linebacker Remington Roberts.

Roberts received a reaffirmation offer from the staff earlier in January and decided to pull the trigger with the new era on the way for Florida Atlantic.

Roberts saw time at nearby Westminster before joining the Flying L's roster and has put 20 pounds on his developing frame since his sophomore season.

Known for his foot speed, Roberts posted 23 total tackles over eight games his sophomore year. He registered 12 in his junior campaign in only four games before being placed on injured reserve, with seven of those being solo and three tackles for loss.
