Solid W if there is one thing we know now, we’re definitely not in C-USA anymore. The American is by far a superior league and I can see why it’s not even considered a mid major conference in basketball. We have to keep racking up the wins and pray that we are playing our best basketball at the end of next month

Agree, but 4 of the 7 teams we've played so for are C USA redux -- 5/8 coming Sunday.

Yeah, but those teams have much more size than last year. UTSA, CLT, and Rice look like AAC teams size wise. FIU and UAB were very cusaish though. Reminded me of what we faced last year. Rice shot like a bad CUSA team tonight, and that is why this game was never truly in doubt.

Maybe (not sure honestly) but these are teams we would be playing anyway as peers. Bryant seemed bigger than us too – still need to win these games and we seem to be back on track although not firing on all cylinders. UNT will be a huge test Sunday.

I spoke in front of about 50 people yesterday (men and women) and gave a quick bio. I said I went to a college many of you basketball fans may have heard of, Florida Atlantic University.
I got a few ooohs and aaahs and even a few applause. I was surprised to get the applause. I didn't expect that at all. I know I wouldn't have gotten that reaction if FAU hadn't been in the final 4 last year and is getting in the news this year.
So this basketball success is doing a great job of getting FAUs name out there in a good way.
My wife has a friend who lives in the St Louis area whose son will be attending FAU in the fall.
Go Owls!!
