Yeah, and I honestly don't think a lot of us are really shocked. But UAB took us out of our game in the second half and frankly deserved the win.

#20 FAU (18-5, 8-2 #AAC) is upset by #UAB in overtime and sees their 7 game win streak snapped while also moving to 0-8 all time at Bartow. They will next travel to Wichita to face the Shockers Sunday at Noon on ESPN2. Go Owls 🦉🏀🔴⚪🔵

Got through this sweet spot in our AAC schedule largely unscathed but everyone could still see this team is vulnerable. Not going to lie I am a bit concerned going forward.

As a Tiger fan I'd rather be sitting at 8-2 at this point instead of 6-4 like we are.

No Rosado finally bit us in the ass. When Goldin has a bad game like that, Rosado could help with defense and a physical presence. I like Carroll, but in a game like this, we win with Rosado instead of going to OT.

We missed so many easy throws in the overtime - it was absolutely unbelievable

Disappointing. A lot to complain about, but a few notes from me:

Goldin has trouble finishing and is timid down low…plays a bit soft sometimes.

I feel like we leave timeouts on the at the end of games sometimes. This is a case where we could have called one bringing it up on the last possession (Davis got a good look but it could have calmed us down a bit) and again when Boyd got the rebound with 3 seconds left (instead of racing out to the 3 point line and heaving up a desperation).

At the end of the day, you just have to make the tournament, and hope for a run. We proved last year it can be done with a difficult seed. Only difference is we aren't sneaking up on anyone this year.
