Four inning down, and still a one hitter.

Williams with 6 K's.

Owls 0  Bulls 0

Williams surrenders the no hitter in the bottom half of the 5th, and some errant throwing action allows the Bulls to notch the scoreboard first with a air of runs.

But the Owls respond in the top of the 6th with a 2RBI homer from Christian Adams to even it up.

Bot 6th

Owls 2  Bulls 2

Bulls starter Mink exits with 11 K's.

Owls throw out a would be run at the plate behind CJ Williams head's up bunt defense.

Top 7th

Owls 2  Bulls 2

CJ Williams departs after six innings, giving up just four hits, allowing one run, and setting down seven Bulls.

Sam Drumheller tosses an effective 7th for FAU, and DeBose scores all the way from 2nd on a groundout to give the Owls the lead in their turn at the plate.

McCormack turns to closer Danny Trehey for the 8th and  who strikes out the Bulls' side.

Top 9th

Owls 3  Bulls 2

Trehey runs into trouble as a bloop single falls and he hits the next batter.

Bulls with two on and no outs in the bottom of the 9th.

Shallow pop is fielded for the first out.

Still two Bulls on the bags.

Another pop sees the second out secured but a wild pitch allows the runners to advance to 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Trehey delivers another strikeout to land the Win! Owls will go for the series tomorrow
