So much fun tonight. We are ready for real games and the rest of the country to see that FAU is not just a flash in the pan. We still have lots to improve on but the ceiling for this team is going to be amazing.

I am cautiously optimistic and excited for this group of players who have given so much to form this new team.

The next five road games will define what we have with games against UCF in Orlando, the Field of 68 tournament in Charleston, SC, then Charleston Classic against Oklahoma State and Miami or Drake.

Wow, this is a super talented team. No doubt, there is no ceiling this year. I was extremely impressed with their defensive play. Not to mention they had over 50 rebounds. I think as this team gels, they will start to pass the ball a little bit more before forcing a three ball that’s contested. I would like to see them move the ball around a little bit more on offense. Looking forward to the UCF game to see how we stack up. I love That coach Jakus said that they are striving to have a deep bench. Let’s Go Owls

We are quickly climbing the Kenpom up to 84th now. A win against UCF may propel us further. These early games make me nervous as our team continues to gel and come together

UCF is also just learning to gel together. I didn't watch but heard they looked a bit vulnerable last night. What scares me is our defense. The only competitive sample we have is Auburn and they were able to score 100 on us.

Auburn is looking like a top 5 team so far - and just beat Houston.

We effectively had a away game at a top 5 team this year - and lost by 30. We have some work to do to compete against a team of the top 5 caliber - but I think we can hold our own against everyone else.
