Honestly, I’m encouraged by what I saw tonight. UCF is a legit P5 program and we are still learning to play together. Yes the defense needs some work but I think it’ll improve as the season progresses and we’ll be really good in conference play

It's so difficult to win away games in basketball so we had an uphill battle from the beginning - but we played well overall I thought. It's probably going to go down as a quad 1 loss when all is said and done.

6 point loss, i'll take it.

Would have hurt more if we didn't score 94. Then again, we gave up 100!

Something tells me we will be just fine in the AAC.

New coach, new team (played 2 games together before this), road game at a power 5 (who just beat #13). can’t be mad about that loss. 

Yeah, this team will have early bumps in the road but can see the potential is off the charts.

It was a great game, think it could of easily been way closer and even taken it with a few misses and turnovers corrected. The two teams were very similar in the style of play and it was very entertaining game.

Though, didn't we have the palm tree branding first, even though ours is more beach palm trees and theirs are just scrub land palmetto bush palm fronds

It is a long season and few teams will go 28-3 in regular season play like we did in 2022-23 or even 24-7 in 2023-24.

It a marathon not a sprint.
