Bulls putting an arse whooping on the Orange.

So disappointing how after we beat them to a pulp, we won one (1) more game all season – while they are the ones bowling and playing like this in our house. It's sickening actually.

I know. We completely collapsed after that Charlotte game. Football has left us with so many more questions than answers not sure what to make of this coming year especially with Wester now gone. Truly unbelievable and not how I expected the Herman era to start.

Totally agree! And I still can't wonder what happens within the team after that win. The energy and play just disappeared IMHO.

Play at home the following week and get manga==handles by UTSA, soring only 10, beat Charlotte (no big deal there!). fall FAR behind UAB but come back from 2 down in  2nd half, score 28 straight to take lead, then stink the end of the game up. AS I said and still wonder, WHERE was he energy and excitement after tying then taking lead in 4th qtr. I did b=not see it and thus the immediate collapse and loss!

Then TWO disaster games (again AT HOME) scoring 15 points COMBINED (again AT HOME) in UGLY losses, then losing to Rice and scoring only 21 points. Rice gave up over 30 SEVEN TIMES!

Team collapses the last 4 games has become the norm!  In other words team in past 4 years after Lane left we are 4-12! ALL Conference games too!! We continue to get worse, not better.

C'mon Coach Herman, shake things up, if you need to change staff, do so. Make the Owls better Coach! So far the transfers in and out don't make me feel any better, nor does the recruiting class. Not bad but not great either.

Boca Bowl Final:

USF 45, Syracuse 0

The Bulls (7-6) s rolled to a 45-0 victory over Syracuse (6-7) in the Boca Raton Bowl in front of a national television audience on ESPN.

USF posted its first bowl win since 2017 and first winning record since 2018 to complete a season that also the first road win in three years, first bowl appearance since 2018, and the program's first-ever 3,000-yard passer and 1,000-yard receiver.

Syracuse was forced to use their 3rd and 4th string quarterbacks for the contest due to injury and could not mount any meaningful offensive production as a result.

Military Bowl Final:

Tulane 20, Virginia Tech 41

The No. 23 (AP) / No. 24 (Coaches) Tulane football team (11-3) lost to Virginia Tech (7-6) on Wednesday at the GoBowling Military Bowl at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium by a 41-20 margin.

The Green Wave managed to tie the game up in the third quarter at 17 only to see the Hokies finish with a 24-3 scoring run.

They were without wideout Chris Brazzell, who entered the transfer portal and recently committed to Tennessee. Brazzell netted 711 yards off of 44 catches and registered five touchdowns in a standout freshman year, which included a team high 103 yard effort against FAU.

The loss moves the American to a 2-2 mark in bowl play with two contests still remaining.

The NCAA has inadvertently totally messed up college football. In their attempt to help the players, they have caused so many problems. I fear fan support, tv viewership,  and outside revenue sources will soon decline.  The cash has to start drying up before they try and fix it. I hope it doesn't wait too long. For the first time  in probably 30 years, I have very little interest in the bowls . And I am a true fan. I wish they could have found a way to help the kids without affecting the game so much.

Totally agree with ya Local! I too had ZERO desire to follow any bowl games as transfers and $$ have destroyed the players desire to play for their team as they are leaving for NFL or Transfer NIL $$$.

Didn't even play a bowl pick em this year as don't know who is even playing. Just look at high and mighty P5 teams like FSU or Texas A&M.

I wouldn't be surprised if the season starts sooner so that bowl games can be played in early December and playoff games towards the end of December. The 12 team playoffs will change a lot next season
