Gainesville Regional Discussion Thread

Still dealing with that cell…
Still some rumbling echoing.
You have to think about Oregon State here. Friday morning they flew from Oregon to Florida leaving at 4:30 am and arriving two hours before game time. Then they sit in a three hour rain delay before beating FAU.
Saturday night, they play Florida and wait out another rain delay, before the game.
Today, they get up, warm-up and now have to sit in another rain delay.
No sign of the teams yet, so you can cross out the 2 p.m. first pitch.

New projected start time is 2:20 p.m.
I think that should hold true, as its sunny now.

Another small crowd, but its cloudy so not as hot as the other games.
FAU is the road team, so we will see Church, Albaladejo and Mee right away.

Church singles, and then Mee hits a ball off the centerfield wall for a double.

Cassidy drives a 3-run hommer well over the wall in left, onto a road.
I see rain coming.

Bases loaded, 2-outs.
OSU is already into the bullpen after giving up 4 hits and 2 walks. Craig Sitton (1-2 3.41 ER) is in now.
Cassidy's HR was the furthest I have seen hit this weekend. Well over the 326 mark.
Now Alvarez can come out and pitch with an early lead.
FAU 4 OSU 0, Top 1st.
