Great 3rd inning from FAU, putting 3 runs on the board to grow their lead. John Schroeder obtained his 2nd sac fly of the day, Patrick Ward scores on a passed ball, and Jake Millan gets an RBI single. FAU even had bases loaded, but Rice stopped them in their tracks before they could take advantage.

Trey Beard having a strong performance on the mound so far, striking out five batters while giving up just four hits against Rice.
