This is precisely  what I  was afraid of. The NCAA should have taken baby steps in compensating players. Ie, a monthly spending allowance. Instead , they opened it up and made rich richer and everyone else taking left overs. I understand the argument going the other way, but college football will never be the same. Ever.

It's an absolute joke the lack of preparedness. "Let's just turn a market on with no regulation". Since every school is basically a minor league program now with their own salary pool, they need to immediately put salary caps in place and level the playing field or this will cause the demise of all programs outside of the P5.
