German OT Keon Rohe Commits to FAU Football Class of 2024

Keon Rohe
OT
6-6, 285 lbs
Frankfurt, Germany
Wiesbaden

Florida Atlantic has found themselves an international stud in offensive tackle Keon Rohe, who will be coming all the way from Germany. Rohe declared his commitment to the Owls on Wednesday, granting the program a lot of strength to the offensive line when he arrives for the 2024 season.

Developing his game in his home country for six years since he was 13 years old, Rohe has been touring all across the United States visiting many campuses throughout the past month. He has stopped by multiple camps at Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, South Carolina, and recently Nebraska on June 13.

His highlights from 2022 can be seen below:

Rohe picked the Owls over Nebraska, Temple, Akron, and Liberty among others. He is expected to enroll in January, which will allow him to participate in spring football drills with the Owls.

The big man has a reported 40-yard dash of 4.97 seconds, which is the exact same time that was ran by Georgia's Broderick Jones, who outpaced all offensive linemen at the 2023 NFL combine.

Rohe becomes the fourth player to be joining the Owls' offensive line in the 2024 season, joining the likes of Braden Cunningham, Ethan Proffitt, and Tyreek Major.

I don't know why, but I think this kid is literally going to be a first round pick in the NFL draft.

Just getting those vibes.

He's gifted athletically, and traditionally that area of the world produces smarts as well.

I definitely think he will be getting some attention from scouts over time as the football knowledge gets absorbed.

Yea he may have a slightly longer learning curve given that he's from outside of the US - but im sure his athleticism will prove to be huge down the road

What I see in that drill and fantastic time is the agility needed in a quality DE, reminding me of Trey Hendrickson. Perfect size as well. And WE NEED a quality edge rusher to change some of the L's we have had, having NO pressure too many time the past few years!

Great get Coaches!
