Florida Atlantic football has added to their depth in the secondary with the addition of former Texas State safety Jarron Morris, who will transfer to Boca Raton.
Morris is a five year veteran who has enjoyed success for the Bobcats amassing 243 total tackles over 50 games. He also has eight interceptions, 35 pass deflections, 14.5 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles to his credit.
Morris was named 2020 All Sun Belt Second Team by both the league and Phil Steele after posting a team best 69 tackles, and was tabbed Sun Belt Honorable Mention in 2019.
Morris originally chose the Bobcats out of high school over offers from Southern Miss, SMU, Army, and Rice.
He becomes the sixth transfer for the Owls in the 2023 cycle and projects to be in the immediate rotation at nickelback.
