I was at the game with my wife and kid seemed like Starks and Fancher were pretty neck and neck although Fancher seemed to have a little more “wiggle” to him. I think it’s Fancher’s
job to lose though I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get more of a look at Michael Johnson Jr I’d like to see home get some reps with the 1s

The numbers and what I saw lean to Starks...either way it is a good problem to have. In the past there has basically been no competition.

I waited a day to speak on the spring game. I know I'm negative, over critical, blah blah blah. The squad the I watched on Saturday is not very talented. The most shocking thing was the lack of size at the receiver and DB positions. Could be a long season. MUST get the OL ready. The portal is much needed this season.

That's fair in some regards…Top OL, Top LB, (arguably) Top RB all out yesterday, just to name a few.

• Portal Preparation With the transfer portal opening on April 16 for the second signing period, the Owls may look to make some moves therein. Herman addressed the possibility of some players coming in or out, saying he's had some preemptive conversations with players important to the team. "I'm always worried.
