FAU bounces back, defeats Wagner 41-10 on Family Weekend
It was Family Weekend in Boca Raton and FAU put on a show in front of the Owls faithful.
wins. I think by now we know we’re probably going to go as far as the QB play takes us this year. I’d say UNT, Charlotte, Temple and Tulsa are likely are best shots. Here’s to a better second half of the season and much needed rest on the bye. Go Owls!

Aside from the MSU game, every contest has been a blowout. Hopefully once in conference play we’re able to straighten a lot out. I was sure that we’d see Fancher after half given how smooth the offense looked early but was unaware of the injury until after the game. While Weisman was uninspiring, I’m hoping the combination of Fancher getting healthy over the bye and Herman calling plays in a simplified offense gets us 4 more

Weisman is a RS freshman playing his first real game in 2 years, he did fine for his first time! I like to see a young qb handing off to a running back. Id like him to get more snaps and FAU be able to run the football more often.
Second half looked similar to how the 2017 team would run the ball.voss749 said

It would be nice to see Starks taking some snaps after he gets healthy; however, he should be able to run the ball too if he cannot throw right now.
