If large G5 institutions in big markets win big, they get much more attention than a school such as Costal Carolina is capable of reaching. UTSA, Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF just to name a few examples. If WKU or LA Tech have similar seasons, the attention just isn't the same.

It isn't just "markets" either. These are generally the schools with the better academics, larger endowments, and have larger athletic budgets than smaller schools (such as sun belt universities). This means better future NIL opportunities, nicer facilities, and a higher "quality of life" for the student atheltes.
