FAU veteran Armani Eli-Adams is in the portal as a grad transfer. Had an unfortunate 2023 campaign due to injuries, but made his impact known in the Owls' secondary over the past few years. Going to miss his leadership there.

Is it just me or are there more players who have been here a while entering the spring transfer portal than in previous years.

Are they realizing that the incoming transfers are going to be better players or did they get a heads up on their potential playing time being limited?

My question for the players that aren't getting playing  time is, where are they going and do they think it will be a better situation for them. Obviously they aren't going  to the next level . Why leave?

Because they have no more scholarship, and can't afford to pay their own way.

Yes, and it's also a scholarship work around

Now I get it. I couldn't see the logic. But if they can land a scholarship  somewhere, great for them.
