Texas QB Ben Ballard is transferring to FAU as a walk on and it is unlikely that Hudson Card would follow.

Well looking him up and on Phil Steele, the best, He is not ever mentioned in write up or depth chart of Texas, and only listed in "others on roster section". And kinda small too at 5'11" and 203 lbs.

I am gonna guess recruited to Texas by Coach Herman at some point at least, so maybe he knows something about him. Also shown as a redshirt freshman. And after all the "great" Coach Sark they dumped Coach H for is only 13-11 so far at UT, WAY below Coach H was there!!!

He's a walk on at FAU…

That isnt the answer at QB.  If that's the best we can do, we will suck next year.

Yup, maybe he knows something about Tom Herman’s offense that we don’t.
Next man up is Zuberi Mobley, whose father wanted him to get the ball more, well it’s time to step up.

Yes, and he praised Dearmon multiple times in interviews.

On a side note 3rd string FAU QB TJ Smith left as well, without fanfare. He's already committed to Dearmon.
