This is an example of why threads like this are a waste of time. No sense getting excited about a commit as many never end up on the field for the same program.

I personally like the threads. It gives me some familiarity with the players who are on the team. If they don't make it, I just eventually forget them

Dearmon's UNA squad on ESPN against FCS #22 Mercer. TJ Smith is at RB and scored a TD.

I don't understand this. Why enter after week 1? Will he have to wait a whole season now to play for whatever school he transfers to or can he transfer and play immediately?

From what I understand he will have to wait until the transfer portal opens after the Bowl Selections are made.
Players enter the transfer portal for many reasons including academics, financial (non scholarship), saving eligibility and health issues.
