Do I have this right? McClendon is our only grey shirt. Johnson Jr is our only transfer under the 2020 class. And Starling is no longer committed (and we're waiting on the other two hard commits?)? So, we can take three more transfers or late signees? Or did those 2020 grey shits whittle us down..?Posted On: Feb 8th 2021, 3:58 PM #400502
Who Grayshirts is still to be determined.
Who ever does will free up room for 2021 and count towards 2022.
The two hard commits are waiting on finals classes. You have till August first this year to sign kids for 2021.
So you can take your time and make sure whoever signs the dotted line will be able to show up for camp.

FAU kicker Vladimir Rivas has entered the portal. He finishes with a 67% FG's made mark.Posted On: Feb 9th 2021, 11:51 PM #400513
Wowww, I thought he would be bringing some consistency to the kicking game it being his 3rd year. Why can’t we seem to keep specialists (kickers/punters) throughout their full eligibility terms. Do other schools battle with this as much as we do at these positions?

He could be scholarship hunting.
He hit 80 percent last year which is amazing for college kicking.
The average college kicker is about 70 percent.
FAU had Joesph for 3 years and the current punter Hayball has been with the team for 3 now.
My position is always bring in 2 walk-ons every year and if one hits put him on scholarship the last couple, so he doesn’t count against a 25 man cap.
