The Toombs transfer got me thinking. First of all, all the best to him. Hope he lands somewhere he is happy.

We have probably gotten the most production out of the 2022 class. The other classes (which should be filling out the roster and be most of our playmakers) has been largely composed of busts. Maybe 1-3 players per class making a dent.

That is beyond concerning. Contrast that with the players Charlie recruited making waves under Lane.

Coach Tom came in with the cupboard beyond bare. 4-8 is not on him. Let's see what he can do with another year of recruits under his belt.

Wow sounds like we're going to have a radically different team next year. Im sure there's a bit of roster shifting on part of the coaches going on too but there's definitely some players we have to retain so i'm curious to see how the next few months go

NJOWL comments on football recruiting over the past few years definitely has some truth to it.

Unfortunately going forward, recruiting will be based on what a High School player thinks he can make in NIL money.

The NCAA does not allow NIL money to be used for recruiting purposes.
