Does anybody have the scoop on ticket info (i.e. what section)? Got the request form, but don't want to opt-in without knowing where they're gonna be at Barclay's.Posted On: Mar 17th 2024, 9:55 PM #422600
I emailed the Ticket office, so will see in the AM. But since it's the early game Friday and I'll literally be in for the game and out as soon as it's over, I just snagged mine already – just to be in the building. I can't imagine the early game will be packed or NWestern having that huge of a presence. I would imagine the place having a lot of Yucon fans trickling in.
Assuming we move on to Sunday I'll make sure to get the right section, because that will be a different story altogether.
Update: They don't have the sections yet but have to be on the list if you want to purchase through them by 12:00 PM today.

Have to thank UAB because if Temple won, there was a good chance we would be 4th best in AAC, maybe…..
WE are alive still due to last years run only. And as punishment. placed in a real tough bracket.
Step it up a ton guys or be embarrassed!
There is my tough love message, now, GO OWLS!!!!!

How we still got in ( as an 8 seed!) yet USF did not is just wrong. THEY at least on the regular season AAC crown, we did nothing.

I think the AAC was stronger than the national perception but the fact of the matter is only FAU and Memphis did anything from a non conference perspective. A few good non conferences wins can prop up the whole conference if you look at how well the MW was perceived. I hope UAB and FAU have good showings in the first round. Maybe UAB can avenge us lol.

Where USF screwed up was NOT scheduling non-conference games against top 25 teams. They just lacked the Net and the quality wins. They only had 1 quad one win. Basically, FAU beating Arizona and Texas A&M held us up all year. USF was awesome but could not make up for their weak non-conference schedule. It's all about metrics. I bet USF schedules a much tougher non-conference schedule next year. Dusty May and his staff, scheduled Illinois, Texas A&M, and Arizona for strength of schedule. They understand that if you want to be the Zags of the East, then you have to play a tough schedule and be consistent. Go Owls!!!

Our allotment is only about 200 tickets (most going to friends/family of the program), so if you're not a big $$$ donor, I would start looking at resale tix unfortunately.

I am literally taking a "long lunch" followed by a "long meeting" lol – so it'll be an in out thing for me which, coupled with the early start and what should be a somewhat less packed Barclays I figured to get my tickets already separately. I will say I went through the university for the Jimmy V Classic and got great MSG seats on the floor for a great price – so if you want to sit in an FAU section and get a decent chance for good seats at a great price, it could make sense to try and get on the list still if you want to wait (no guarantees). But given the early start and what I figure to be a relatively open arena, will be an in and out thing for me.
Assuming there is a Sunday – that'll be a different story lol – will have to make sure to sit with the University because sitting with Yucon fans can be brutal. And I was at the Sweet 16 Game sitting in a sea of Vol fans, so can't imagine sitting amongst Huskie fans.
