Hope so, but it's hard to imagine that the university can afford the buyout while also paying Kiffin.

Minimal in the big picture…
Year one: $750,000 (2014-15)
Year two: $600,000 (2015-16)
Year three: $400,000 (2016-17)
Year four: $200,000 (2017-18)
Year five: $100,000 (2018-19)
He will get $15,000 as a lump sum retention payment on July 18th, 2018 if he is still coach, so parting ways will save the department that amount.
He's 33-71 overall, and 13-42 in Conference play at this point…
Will be gone.
