There he is! Troutman's first FG of the game comes at the 10:00 mark of the second half, and it puts #FAU back within single digits.

Down 13 at home to a team you should beat by at LEAST six points…wow.Posted On: Feb 22nd 2018, 7:53 PM #377356
It's become a joke at this point. This is the best we can do with Delph, Massey, Troutman, Pfister, and Hulsey graduating this offseason? Shameful. All of this senior talent with nothing to show for it.
Now we're playing ball! #Rice is forced to take a timeout after a Jailyn Ingram put-back pulls #FAU within 7! Game hasn't been this close since 3:48 remaining in the first half.

OWLS LEAD!!

Gerdarius Troutman is a BAAAAAD man! Troutman hits two straight threes to give #FAU the first lead since the opening minute of the game. FAU is in the middle of a 13-0 run, 9 points belonging to the sharpshooter from Georgia.
FAU 61 - Rice 60, 3:00 2H
A chaotic final 10 seconds ends with Troutman hitting the game tying three-pointer with a defender in his face. The Rice full court heave falls short.
We're headed to overtime with Rice and FAU tied at 66 a piece.

Let's recap: Troutman misses a three with 15 seconds left. Payton Hulsey pokes the ball away after Rice gained possession on the rebound. The ball falls into the hands of Troutman, who shoots the game tying FG with 3 seconds left.
Ladies and gentlemen, the definition of CLUTCH:

UPDATED SCHEDULE: 2017-18 FAU Men's Basketball Schedule - FAU Owl's Nest
Have to control the trigger better and only allow the players that should be shooting take shots.
Also, why was NO ONE on the guy receiving the ball.
On a side note:
Our cheerleaders looked confused as to whether or not they should cheer when Rice made the game winning shot.
