Right and FGCU showed you can fill up an arena with people at a "nobody cares about basketball" place.

I think there's a market for FAU basketball. It's also one of the situations where potentially albeit miraculously we could win a national championship.

I don't think Curry is the guy to get us there though. He's brought in talent and had some success but if we have another bad season here I don't know that "he can stick around, nobody cares" is the argument to keep him (whereas it might be for, say, men's soccer)

Yep, went to most home games for about 8-10 years.  The program has had so little vision and progress made over the last 3-4 years it has been almost impossible to follow with any enthusiasm.  Our basketball program does not belong in CUSA.  We dont have the resources allocated toward the program nor the facilities to properly compete.  Until that changes this program is going nowhere no matter who the HC is.

Owls are in El Paso, looking for a W against UTEP.

Still waiting for FAU's starting lineups. But I can confirm that Omega Harris and Dominic Artis, both have had great games against FAU over the years, are starting for UTEP.

Here's the lineup for tonight. Cylla had a ton of success last year against the Texas schools. I'd say he is overdue for a big game.

After making their first two, FAU has missed 5 straight shots Resulting in zero FAU points in 3 minutes, and an early UTEP lead.

Jeez, this turned ugly. With 11:41 left in the first, FAU's made 1 of their last 9 FGs, while UTEP could only convert 1 of their last 7. 🤢🤢🤢

Pick something and stick with it, can't get a rhythm established otherwise.

They have played 7 players, we have played 11.

And DRAW UP SOME SET PLAYS.

We're too easy to defend against, and it is getting old!
