UPDATED SCHEDULE: 2016-2017 FAU Men's Basketball Schedule - FAU Owl's Nest
Nice to post another win there!
Owls shooting 13-16 FT and 10 second chance points (compared to 2 for Charlotte), is the reason why we're on our way to Norfolk with our heads high.

I'm telling y'all, this team has some grit to it. There's depth that we really haven't seen before. It's just about getting these players in the right positions within set plays to take smart shots.

They need a little help from the staff, that pathetic inbounds play where the timeout was called and the terrible turnover with about a minute left were terrible. There was no set play on the inbound, two guys standing on the base line asking for the ball, that's it. Frustrating but great to battle back from 17 down to take the win on the road.

Jack, do the top two seeds sit out of the first round?

Actually, the top four seeds sit-out the first round.
So if the tournament ended today, the tournament would look like this:
12. Southern Miss vs 5. Marshall (winner would play 4. Louisiana Tech)
11. FAU vs. 6. Western Kentucky (winner would play 3. Old Dominion)
10. Charlotte vs. 7. UTEP (winner plays 2. UAB)
9. UTSA vs 8. Rice (winner plays impending doom vs 1. Middle Tennessee)
FIU and North Texas would be staying home.
The trick for this year's tournament: Stay out of Middle's way for as long as possible.
Our current position would actually fit quite nice. We've always played WKU tough, ODU is vulnerable away from Norfolk, we've played UAB and UTEP close over the years, and we'd avoid Middle until the final round.
Heck, I'd say keep it EXACTLY like this!
