Despite leading the majority of the game, the Owls fall to 14-11 (6-6) after failing to score in the final 4:43 of the game.

The Panthers owned an 8-0 run during that span

The Panthers comeback was made possible by a woeful 31% second half FG shooting, in which the Owls failed to convert a single three-pointer.

Owls also shied away from crashing the boards in the final period, allowing FIU to turn a 21-16 second half rebounding advantage into a 18 second chance points.

I want to apologise  to all of FAU  and it's fans. Yes. I attended  tonight game.  I am the dark cloud. As  good as FAU looked in the first half, they looked that bad in the second. Fiu looked so much better than us. We are not there yet. Baseball next Friday. My black cloud doesn't go to the diamond.

The game came down to one thing one thing only:

Failure to make three point baskets. Simply inexcusable to let some guys shoot they way we are. Have to lock it down to a select core, and that's it.

Two guys who are at 28% shot it six times, while the second best shooter on the team only had one attempt. Not going to win with that…

Anyways, we have a serious road trip ahead, and La Tech will not be a win.

The games are fun, cheap, family-friendly, weather is absolutely gorgeous, and its by far our most successful program!

Took an elbow in practice, but is fine.
