The last assistant stopped to talk with Dusty...the rest were off like a prom dress.

Just a thought. Does anyone think Michael Forrest is missed more than anyone thought he would be? I know things are different in the AAC but 3 of the 4 losses are to FGCU, Bryant and UNCC (first year in AAC like us). His leadership might be missed.

I was just thinking that the other day Illinoisowl. No doubt about us missing his leadership. Hopefully Boyd will grow into that leadership role. I also think we are also missing the spark he provided coming off the bench. And, he was a beast at the foul line.

I believe we are going to be just fine. This team is going to get stronger every game. Rebounds, Rebounds, Rebounds…When we are scrappy and fight for every rebound, we win. Keep it simple. We will be ready for Memphis when the time comes. Let's Go Owls!!!

I too think Boyd will be the man next season. We will be fielding g a different set of faces, but the talent will be there. Especially if we bri g in the guys that are committed. You can't help but love Nick Boyd.

One of my best memories of 2023 was being at MSG watching Forrest seal the game vs K State with 2 clutch free throws.

I think the team will be fine. We hit our stride in March last year and hopefully we will do it again.

I think Martin is back next year. Goldin too maybe.

No doubt. The inconsistency is not going to bode well for an NBA offer.

Agreed. Both have definitely taken a hit to their draft stock. Davis is probably a first round pick and likely an all-aac selection he has undoubtedly been our best player this year

I've seen it many times at FAU baseball where coming back an additional  season has helped a players pro value. I believe Davis is the only next level ready guy.   I think another season of college ball will help any other player thinking of trying to make the leap. But….money talks.
