It’s about as bad as it gets. Idk how you go into 2025 at this point.

Not sure we get another win. Maybe we get at 1 best. Doubt we can afford to fire Herman so he will get a 3rd year

His buyout is only 20 or 22 weeks of salary, that’s peanuts.

Maybe he leaves on his own to be a position coach in the NFL or takes a P4 coordinator gig?

Whatever happens, he needs to get interested in being a coach again. His public talks do not inspire confidence.

WHO hires him after this?????????

Tom ya better do a PITT 2.0 and hire a goos FCS O Coordinator who also brings some good players to turn this around! It worked for WKU, it works for PITT

WE are garbage now,  Either it is other teams adjust to our lame O and D and blow us away, or NO CONDITIONING or NO HEART!

FAU ADMIN. - DEMAND CHANGES - NOW!

Ah……, okay some truth here, but I think the score run up we put on at USF last year made it an in state rivalry game.

We do play each other every year now you know.
Good luck with the rest of the year.

To USF fans, coaches, and players FAU is just another team on the schedule in the AAC.  We have no feelings or attachments to any of the teams here because we want to get back to power football. We don't make the schedule or this made up rivalary by AAC commissoner, FAU , FAU's Coach, ESPN. UCF is our rival. FIU is FAU's rival. Herman got a taste of his own medicine and threw a tantrum like a toddler. Hopefully for FAU fans he gets fired, but I am fine with you to keep him forever.

Give me a break.

1. It's a rivalry no matter how much you pretend its not. It's in state and in conference. Fans and students care when they know alumni of the other at school, work, are neighbors, fans family. USF can pretend they are rivals with UCF, but they have done gone and moved on from your school. You are stuck in the AAC until the ACC falls apart and you join some version of the AcC that looks like PAC-12 now and the rest become P3.
Since Leavitt left and your cup of coffee in the Big East USF football has mostly been losers.

2. Golesh doesn't have single win over a team with winning record 20 games at USF. This despite have more resources than 90 percent off the conference.  He still has to lie not even recruiting against FAU when that is not true.

You can keep pretending you are our rival when we go bowing and you don't. I'm not here to kick you when you are down, but we have no feeling toward fau just another team on thr schedule.

Something is happening during the 3rd quarters because most games FAU has been leading during the first half.
Are we too easy to figured out by the other teams? or the players are out of gas around that time?

The highlight of the game to me was how both bands joined forces and delivered a good show. Not sure if you noticed but both bands were talking to each other with music. That was pretty cool.

How many wins has Herman had against teams with a winning record at fau? How many bowl wins? Herman is the sore loser throwing a tantrum because golesh only shook his hand. He got his feeling hurt . I coach youth sports and play adult beer league hockey. You teach kids and adults the same shake their hand and move on. There is no rule you have to hug the guy, have a heart to heart, or even shake his hand. Golesh wanted to get his players out of there in a chippy game and not waste his time listening to Herman's hissy fit because he got a beatdown in boca.Herman should put the effort he spent acting like a toddler into winning some games. This isn't a rivalry no matter how you want to spin it. UsF could care less about fau they are just another team in the watered down Aac conference  usa 2.0 .

Last time I checked USF has not done anything remarkable in Football.
USF has been playing football a bit longer than FAU and only has 1 conference title, no stadium yet, an anemic attendance record with 12K more students than FAU and still plays in the same watered down AAC 2.0, so go somewhere else with your superiority complex.
… your marching band is awesome, I have to give you that.

Ah, the Marching Band issue comes up.

WHY can FAU NOT be able to build a decent or respectable or even GREAT marching band. S. Fl. and Florida has tons of very good HS marching bands, WE have now had the stadium for what, a dozen years……

WHY to me is FAU growth, to put it nicely, stagnant. WHAT building projects to expand academics and housing are in the works? We know NOTHING is really being done for athletic facilities other than lipstick on a pig (baseball, basketball, softball……).

We are now in the AAC, with still SunBelt facilities!!!! Student enrollment is not growing and may even be down some from what I read. ALL of our in State competitors are growing.

We had Lane for 3 great years but nothing good or maybe more importantly exciting since - IN 5 YEARS!!!! Dusty did a great job too getting us to the Final 4 even. I hope Coach J can rebuild, looking decent so far.

Sorry for the rant guys but I am concerned why FAU seems at best stagnant to me!

Their marching band played while our offense literally was snapping the ball, during our dance team portion, and many other inappropriate (and even illegal in college football) times.

While their band is definitely decent, it is not respectable.

USF fans may not think of us as their rival but they've be certainly rubbing our nose in s–t with glee for the last year or so
especially the current coach with his classless comments during the last Boca Bowl.
