Better concentrate on only signing taller QB's! 5'10" or even 6' won't cut it!!!

Here is where we are at with our young QB’s on the roster now.
I think Tom Herman knows we need to get taller at that position.

Luke Rucker 6’4” Freshman
Michael Johnson 6’3”” Junior
Carson Cruver 6’3” Freshman

What happened here? Are they just not good?
The Clemson coach in a pre game interview said that the FAU line is big. I know just big isn't everything. I have friends up here who played NAIA and DIII football. They all claim they had 300+ pound guys at those levels. I live walking distance from a small DIII college, 1800 enrollment. Their football team has 8 guys 300 lbs and over. The largest at 380 lbs, all OL. Plenty of almost 300.
I initially heard some accolades about the line. Fake news?

All the accolades  were before a snap even occurred. This is a big, slow, unphysical line. Very disciplined. But not very good. IMHO, we need to rebuild the OL and Edge Rushers first. And no more 170 lb DB's. The top teams just out physicaled  us. That simple.

OT, EDGE, CB are the highest paid positions in the NFL outside of QB.

That is the same for college in 2023.

Teams that whooped us have been recruiting in the AAC well for a long time.

UTSA just has a team of 24 year olds.

Adding Casey Thompson at 6’1” back in now that he has his medical redshirt.

We still need to be looking at the QB Transfer Portal to see who may be available and interested in coming to FAU.
