HOME OPENER GAME CAPSULE: FAU vs Coastal Georgia - November 8th, 2024

The Home-opener for FAU Men’s basketball is almost upon us, as D2 Coastal Georgia heads to Eleanor R Baldwin Arena to give John Jakus and company their first taste of regular season basketball in paradise. The Owls sold out every home game last season and both Jakus and players alike are excited to see what the first game at home has in store.

Coastal Georgia used to be the local community college where I lived in Georgia. It is formerly known as Brunswick Junior College then changed to Coastal Georgia Community College. It became a 4 year college in 2009. Its relatively small. Quite popular with Atlanta students who wanted to go to college near the ocean.
This should be another good opportunity for Jakus to try some things and fine tune others.

The team has obviously put in work, so I'm hoping Boca returns the favor and shows up tonight.

Not sure how the ticket sales are going...will see if I can get some info.
