Selections mark 10th consecutive year FAU has players chosen Left handed pitcher Alex Pepe (Toronto Blue Jays), and infielder Travis Ozga (New York Mets) were slected in todays Major League Baseball draft in the 31st, and 46th rounds respectively. It marks the 10th straight that FAU has been represented. Pepe is FAU’s all time leader in appearance with 88 while holding opposing teams to just a .260 average during his career. He had been slelected in the 44th round of last year’s draft but chose to return for his senior season. Ozga, a product of Boca Raton’s Pope John Paul II High School, tallied 100 RBI and 39 extra base hits during the 2008 and 2009 seasons for FAU.
