LIVE UPDATES: 2023 FAU Football Spring Game
The last six weeks worth of effort and hard work for Florida Atlantic football will be on display today at high noon when Coach Tom Herman and the Owls kickoff the 2023 Spring Game at Howard Schnellenberger Field.
Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
Players have been divided into two teams, a process which began Thursday night.
The squad put the finishing touches on alignment with an abbreviated practiced Friday afternoon to conclude final preparations for the contest.
One side will be sporting red jerseys while the other will don white jerseys.
The game will be divided into quarters with the halves following different formats. The first half will be a traditional half with time stoppages, and the second half will have a running clock with no interruptions.
Be sure to stay tuned here below in the comments section as we will be providing live updates from the stadium.
Comments
- Offense looks like it’s going to run through Larry McCammon this year
- Richardson definitely our QB1 but Ben Ballard is probably our QB 2. Sad for MJJ guys just can’t seem to stay healthy.
- O-Line looks big and experienced. Defense looks opportunistic.
- Good to see some new faces making plays like Hester, Kobe Lewis, etc
- WR core seems improved and experienced with Wester and Burton
