American Athletic Conference Announces 2024-25 Women's Basketball Schedule Pairings
The American Athletic Conference has announced the women's basketball league schedule pairings for the 2024-25 season.
Every team in The American will play 18 league games, including six of its 12 conference opponents twice and the other six once - three at home and three on the road.
Five programs competed in postseason tournaments in the 2023-24 season. Defending American champion Rice competed in the NCAA Championship, while Tulsa and North Texas competed in the inaugural Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT), and UAB and UTSA competed in the WNIT.
Florida Atlantic will play an 18-game conference schedule, playing six teams twice both home and away, and playing the remaining six conference opponents just once.
The Owls play Charlotte, East Carolina, Memphis, Rice, and South Florida twice, both at home and on the road. In the single-game pairings for this season, Florida Atlantic will host North Texas, Temple, and UAB, and will visit Tulsa, UTSA, and Wichita State.

AAC's 2024-25 conference slate will kick off on Saturday, December 29, 2024 and will conclude on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
The 2025 American Athletic Conference Championship will be hosted at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The women's and men's tournaments will be held at the Fort Worth venue for the fifth consecutive year, with the women's championship slated to be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, through Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Complete dates and times for the Florida Atlantic 2024-25 women's basketball schedule will be announced later this fall.
