Size and strength are two things the Florida Atlantic football team will be getting when Nikolas Turner joins the Owls’ offensive line in 2025.

Turner announced his commitment to the Owls on Thursday evening, shortly after making his official visit this past weekend.
He was a late bloomer when it came to football, only starting to play the sport since the spring of his sophomore year at Rockledge High School.
Before, he was playing on the varsity basketball team where he played for two seasons as a forward. He averaged 2.5 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in 42 appearances on the court.
Since taking part in football, Turner has shined as a lineman due to his astounding frame of 6-foot-8 and 280 lbs. He helped the team finish 6-6 on the season, going 3-1 against their district opponents, before seeing their campaign come to an end in the regional semifinals of the 2023 FHSAA Football State Championships.
Rated as a three-star lineman with an 84 score on On3, he is ranked the 107th-best player at his position and the 160th-best in the state of Florida.
He chose the Owls over intriguing offers from multiple programs such as Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Marshall, and Western Kentucky among others.
Turner is the 10th member of the Owls’ 2025 class, being the second offensive lineman to join after Cole Cooke announced his commitment on June 12.
